Review: Passion & Venom by Shanora Williams

Imagine this:
Your husband is murdered on your wedding day.
Your gown is soiled in his blood.
You are taken hostage...
Treated like a caged animal.
The man behind your husband's murder is revealed.
His name is Draco Molina.
Draco has power. Respect. Wealth.
He is a savage beast of a man - dominant in every way.
Soon after, he makes you an offer that you can't refuse.
All you have do is submit to him, and in return you won't be punished.
He will reward you handsomely.
But if you disobey, you must be prepared to face the consequences.
What do you do when the most wanted man in the world . . . wants you?

I'm in that what the eeeefffffffff  did I just read moment... and not in a bad way, but in an I need more type...

**This book contains dark themes..not for the faint of heart!

This is Gianna Nicotera and Draco Molina's story.

Gosh, where do I even begin? Their story is chock-full of different kinds of emotions, I was reeling.

Gia and Draco have been connected since childhood. They met when Draco was sixteen and she was ten, in a shooting range of all places (that might give you a hint on where this story will lead).

Their story is so full of passion, and what I mean by that is that every word evokes feeling. I felt anger, disgust, annoyance, lust, butterflies and understanding. Their story is dark but the characters fit the plot perfectly.
If Gia wasn't who she is, wasn't as strong as she was raised to be, if the h was any other woman but Gia, I doubt she would've survived such events. Gia hesrself is such a strong woman. She is smart, she's resourceful, and she's a survivor. Through all the events that she faced throughout the story, she always manages to move past it. Yeah, she has her moments, what woman wouldn't? She goes through so much pain and torture, but despite everything, she doesn't break. And for someone who went through all the stuff she had, that is astounding.

Draco will be one of your favorite anti-heroes. Is he a gentleman? Hell no. He's very dominating, controlling, and at times, severely cold. He believes in discipline and following the rules. He also believes in loyalty, not love. Loyalty has kept him at the top of the food chain and he relies in it more than any other feeling.
His past shaped him, as we see little snippets of stories about his past from his mother, and it has made him who is today.

Their connection can be seen from the start. Their chemistry is down-right fiery, they practically burn the sheets. They match in strength and endurance in every way, they are practically made for each other.

I don't see any other woman made for Draco the way Gia is. Though their second meeting was not the stuff of dreams, and their path towards the future is littered with betrayal, pain and danger, I can't wait to see what's in store for them.
